Earlier this month, the Florida legislature announced that it would not appeal the recent court decision that ruled two districts in the newly drawn congressional maps to be unconstitutional. As the decision comes so close to this year’s upcoming elections, there is still some uncertainty as to whether the maps in question will be redrawn and put into effect prior to the election.
